Now the Summer Solstice is upon us it means it is Glow-Worm time. There are populations dotted around North Wales and here are some shots of one I found at the back of my old Gaff in Menai Bridge. For anyone who is interested apparently there is a Glow-Worm workshop on the Great Orme this weekend organised by the NWWT, so check their website. Kate Gibbs informed me about it last night as I was looking for Nightjars in the Gwydyr whilst under costant attack from Midges! Geoff and Kate both had luminous matching yellow jackets on so incidently looked like two massive Glow-Worms!
