Buff tip, Barred Yellow and an ignorant journalist.

Finally, a species I've always wanted to catch in the garden appeared on the side of the moth trap this morning...a Buff tip. A species the kids always love to see.


Other species seen was another garden first a nice Barred Yellow, White Ermine, 2 Buff Ermine, Foxglove Pug, 3 Mottled Beauty, 32 Heart and Dart, 5 Dark Arches, 6 Large Yellow Underwing, Scalloped Hazel and 3 Garden Carpet.

Silly, ignorant woman. I have sent her the following picture and asked her to look at the wonder the the young boy's eyes. I love moths :-)

    Ignorance! And the moth doesn't actually eat the clothes- its the caterpillars! Many moths don't feed! So she's got her facts wrong!

    Parts of Adolf Hitlers Mine Kampf contained some wonderful examples of creative writing- it was still total
