This was in the heath trap this morning! A bit whacky looking and it had a few mites on its undercarriage. They feed on carrion and are also called the Burying Beetle as the male excavates under a corpse and then pairs with the first lady to arrive and you can guess what happens next. A bit messed up. I think they may have been reading that 50 shades of grey nonsense all the middle aged women are raving about.
