New ladybird

What I thought was at first a 14-spot ladybird now looks to be an orange ladybird which can have between 12 and 16 spots. It was in the trap last night and it reminded me that I've seen very few ladybirds this summer, I don't know if that's other people's experiences. New for the year was a smart grey chi while more white-line darts are appearing. Keep trying to turn one into square-spot dart without success so far.
